About Des McNelis
Good day!
I retired a few years ago from a 30-year career in IT (mostly technical: O/Sās, hardware, telecoms, Databases, programming, Systems Design,,).
As a personal project, I am analysing aspects of Proportional Representation ā the Single Transferable Vote (STV).
In the seventies and the noughties I participated in Forest Rallying. This was thoroughly enjoyable and very exciting! In the eighties I held a Private Pilots License (PPL). This enabled me to enjoy flying in Scotland, England, Ireland and the USA.
Since my retirement I have been fortunate enough to travel (mainly Europe) with my partner Ellen.
